Energy release techniques

Dog Shaking Energy Release is a fast and aeffective way to release energy and trauma. It is based on the natural instinct of animals to shake off stress after a traumatic event - which humans have been conditioned to suppress. Shaking has been found to restore nervous system balance and move us out of 'fight and flight' mode.​​

When we don't release emotions and energy in the moment, but cling onto it, we store it in the body. This trauma bubble can be triggered when we don't want it to be taking us back into the stored emotions energy. We can release built-up anxiety physically. Just like a dog shakes off tension after a stressful moment, we can release built-up anxiety physically.

 

When you feel anxious, try this:

✔ Stand up, close your eyes, and take a deep breath.

✔ Notice where you can feel the anxiety in your body. Where do you feel achy or 

✔ Start shaking your hands loosely, then move to your arms, shoulders, and legs.

✔ You may find another part of your body wants to shake. Let that shake. Be guided by your body 

✔ Continue to breathe deeply 

✔ Imagine shaking off all the negative energy clinging to you.

 

This simple act can reset your nervous system - releasing trapped stress and creating an instant sense of calm.
