The Decision Compass

— A Quick Tool to Overcome Confusion And Find Inner Direction —

Struggling make a decision?

This is a simple but powerful tool to help you break the cycle of overthinking and make relationship decisions confidently. When faced with fears about commitment - whether it’s choosing the wrong partner, losing your independence, or making a mistake - you can use this tool to sort through your thoughts quickly and objectively.

Let's begin:

1. Pause and Breathe:

• Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take five slow, deep breaths. Focus on the sensation of air filling your lungs. Notice where the air comes in and follow each tiny sensation

2. The 4-Point Compass:

• Visualize a compass with four points: Mind, Heart, Body, and Spirit.

3. Consult Each Point:

• Mind: What does logic say about this relationship? Are your concerns rational?

• Heart: How do you feel around this person - safe, warm, excited, or uneasy?

• Body: Notice physical sensations - are you relaxed or tense?

• Spirit: Does the idea of commitment align with your deeper values and purpose

4. Integrate the Insights:

• Consider all four perspectives before making a decision. Trust that balance, not perfection, leads to clarity.

5. Affirm:

• “I can make decisions with clarity, balance, and trust in my inner compass.”
